While one of the most exciting parts of aviation photography is the Air to Air photo shoot.  You get to meet some wonderful people in the field of aviation. While in Mesa, Arizona a few years back I had the privilege of photographing the Arizona Ground Crew, a living historian group. They were set up by the Commemorative Air Force Museum’s B-17G Flying Fortress bomber, Sentimental Journey. They really made you feel as if you were watching the real thing back in WWII. They even decided to show how the ground crews would have taken a break from maintaining the aircraft. i think this may have been the most fun part for them. I thought a coversion to B&W would make it feel a little more authentic. Shot using a #CanonUSA #1Dx with a #EF2470 lens.
