Today was the first day of my Storm Chasing adventure. It was a shake down day more than anything. I have seen a lot of rural America and all I can say is that it’s not all that pretty. We passed through some pretty small towns that have hit hard times. It is actually very depressing to see. But they are still trying to succeed. One town had a lovely memorial to it’s war veterans.
There were old abandoned buildings that had some nice character to them.
Even though there were no storms today there where still some nice landscape shots to be had.
